Activewear fabrics with elastane can offer useful stretch and recovery, but the best result depends on yarn quality, knit structure, finishing, and garment engineering.
Stretch describes how far fabric extends; recovery describes how closely it returns after the load is removed. A fabric that stretches easily may still bag out.
Request controlled stretch-and-recovery testing in both directions, including checks after washing, before approving material for fitted garments.
