Factories can often send swatches before garment development, subject to material availability.
Use the intended production fabric and construction for decisions that depend on stretch, recovery, shrinkage, or seam behavior. A substitute can support early development, but it cannot reliably validate every performance requirement of the final garment without further confirmation and testing. Request identified references with full material specifications.
