A failed lab dip needs revised development or an explicitly approved alternative shade.
Color evaluation needs an identified physical standard and agreed lighting conditions. Digital images cannot reliably establish shade acceptance, and different fibers or surfaces can look different despite similar color measurements; visual review and instrumental data should be interpreted together where appropriate. Do not treat silence as permission to proceed.
